Hello, I stumbled on this problem and with the help of many in #debian-devel we came out with a simple solution:
pbuilder create --debootstrap debootstrap --debootstrapopts --keyring=/etc/apt/trusted.gpg I tried to document it in my blog at: http://www.enricozini.org/blog/eng/trusted-pbuilder.html and in the Debian Wiki at: http://wiki.debian.org/SecurePbuilder Maybe this should just be tried anyway by default?
