I also posted that to comp.mail.sendmail - no response. sendmailconfig seems to be abandonware. I think the only reasonable solution to that is to remove sendmailconfig and only ship a systemd unit with configuration options for the administrator. @anbe Can you build DEB packages without it, please? Even if they don't have a systemd unit included, I will create one you can later include. I am willing to test these packages on my test machines. -- kind regards Marco
