Package: munge
Version: 0.5.15-2
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-Cc: hri...@venev.name

Dear Maintainer,

When the `munge` package is upgraded, its prerm script runs
`rm -r /run/munge`. This removes the socket of the currently running munge
daemon, making it unreachable.

This is especially problematic if automatic service restarts have been
disabled via `/usr/sbin/policy-rc.d`, as the service will not be
restarted and will remain in a broken state.

I think it would be better if the prerm script didn't remove anything
unless the package was being purged.
