Dear Maintainer, Is there is a way to use the conf.d mecanism for files in base-files. In my case it's for issue and issue.net. For explanation i will imagine the directory issue.d . Maybe it's need an option to concatenate or erase default file. And maybe the same way to load 10- 20- etc. Why asking ? - to separate my own legal issue and the default one - no more dpkg question on update/upgrade. Please let me know if a more relevant place for that new feature exist. thx for your work -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'testing-debug'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.5.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to fr_FR.UTF-8), LANGUAGE=fr_FR.UTF-8 Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages base-files depends on: ii gawk [awk] 1:5.2.1-2 ii mawk [awk] 1.3.4.20230808-1 base-files recommends no packages. base-files suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
