A fair critique, although as I mentioned in an earlier email, this collector cannot do its job if it's running on a significantly out-of-date cache. At the same time, if feels out of scope for this Debian package to ensure the periodic apt service is configured to run. Feels like a rock and a hard place. Thoughts?
