Thank you Tom I am aware of this: the problem is that there is no official upstream actually (original upstream author is impossible to reach, neither to find his release with proved authenticity).
But I've found 4 forks already: 1. "original" release from Torisugari, which can be found here and there (for instance from bmsyncSE page) 2. bmsyncSE -- http://www.trasduzione.com/bmsync/ 3. bookmarks synchronizer 3 -- https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=1989&application=firefox 4. Bookmark Sync and Sort -- https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2367/ And I can't decide which way to go. The problem is that all of the upstream authors are hard to reach. I had a small conversation with 3rd on his blog but quite a few questions were simply left unanswered. And in my choice the main criterion is active and responsive upstream. 3,4 seems to be most recently active, but not very actively as to my sense. Since 4 is an improved 3, I think that at the end I will follow it (although that author didn't reply to my email at all) May be you have an opinion which way should we go? :-) > Package: mozilla-bookmarksftp > Version: 1.0.2-1 > This extension is disabled in the latest Firefox package > (1.5.dfsg+1.5.0.3-2) although it should be compatible.
