Package: fprintd Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: do.siekiersk...@gmail.com
Dear Maintainer, I own a laptop that has a fingerprint reader. It is in the list of supported devices and I wanted to configure it but unfortunately there are no fprintd and libpam-fprintd packages in trixie sources. Interestingly, when I installed these packages the next time on debian bookworm and then changed to debian testing it was still possible to use the fingerprint reader after the full-upgrade and the packages were not removed. I see that on packages.debian.org these packages are in sid. Does this mean that they will also appear in trix in some time? -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.5.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled
