Package: udev Version: 0.092-2 Severity: normal I just upgraded from 0.084-5 and linux 2.6.12 to to 0.092-2 with 2.6.16 and now the dvb device names are wrong. Instead of /dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0 I have /dev/dvb0.dvr0.
This seems to be a rather large regression; there are reports of this misnaming on the lists back in 2004 but I've never seen it in Debian. It appears that the kernel change caused it because installing udev 0.084-5 again doesn't fix it.
