Package: mdadm Severity: normal Version: 1.12.0-1 Trying to assemble a dirty degraded RAID 5, I found the --force flag not to do what I would expect. Instead of forcefully assembling a dirty degraded array, it exited with the same error as if I had not used --force. I am not sure whether this is mdadm or the kernel.
