Might be better to rm -rf vendor/hiredis/* in execute_before_dh_auto_configure to avoid vendored source code from being accidentally compiled. I believe a coordinated fix with libhiredis transition [2] is needed. But anyway since both packages are handled by you, that should not be a issue.
