python-sparse looks to have a hard dependency on numba, there's lots of functions tagged with @numba.jit, several modules start with import numba.
Given how hard it is for numba to update, I wish upstream would keep numba an optional dependency. I should probably remove the <!nocheck> since it seems required now. I'm not sure how to help with the python3.12 transition though.
