Same thing happens here with mozilla-mplayer 3.25-6. Downgrading to 3.25-4 restores normal operation in Mozilla.
Isn't that where the maintainer started building the package against xulrunner? Note that 3.25-6 *does* work with Firefox, which is probably why the maintainer didn't see the problem.
