Hello,
There was a need to write an article about shutdown at
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=218266

Apparently, the participation of Debian specialists is needed, who can describe
the shutdown issue from the point of view of the internal structure of Debian.
Not all developers there are Debian users.
In particular: is the SIGTERM signal generally suitable for saving user program
data in Debian or should you look towards the dbus PrepareForShutdown signal.

Many proposed solutions (mostly around the same SIGTERM) in this area do not
work for Debian, although, apparently, they work for the developers themselves
who use other distributions.

Thank you !
