In fact, it's *enabling it* (pristine-tar = True).

These seem to be fixed.

Agreed -- I understand wanting to avoid epochs but I think that ship has
sailed. I don't think upstream is going to release v25 anytime soon :)

On a related note, 1.3.4 is behind now; upstream has released v1.4.0 a
couple of weeks ago. bcachefs is now in Linux 6.7 (released yesterday),
so it'd be nice to have up-to-date userspace as well.
