The bug is a side effect of an openal header bug. Because

fails, the ./configure fails to properly detect the openal version
and get confused. It sets OPENAL_VERSION=2004 instead of OPENAL_VERSION=2007
I tried to manually fix the alc.h bug and re-run the openalpp-cvs compilation
and it compiled successfully.

Hopefull I just have to wait for openal to fix this.

        Does this make sense ?

        Thanks for your help.
