Package: xslide Version: 0.2.2-4 Followup-For: Bug #369696 I discovered the problem: in the site-init.d file for xslide, the patterns for matching file names are not anchored, so ".fo" matches ".fonts.conf". (It was a red herring that the file happened to contain XML!)
