I tried this in a VM. I don't see any problem here. Any icon is shown and I can open the app with the "tray icon". But I added a "open app" menu entry in 2.1.0.
If the problem still exists in 2.1.0 please provide the following data. * Whole log of started and shown app. * Screenshots * Your installed packages: dpkg -l Best regards André
