Package: texlive-base-bin Severity: important Hi,
this might already be fixed in the to-be-uploaded version 2005-2, but I encountered a problem here. I switched from teTeX to TeXLive on a sid system, that is I didn't purge teTex first. When texlive-base-bin was configured, fmtutil failed because ushyph1.tex was not found - this file is mentioned in teTeX's language.dat, but not in TeXLive's. Either TeXLive did not run update-language, or it did it too early (when tetex-base.list was still in /var/lib/tex-common/language-cnf/). Manually running update-language fixed it.
