Package: dkim-rotate
Version: 0.4
Severity: normal
X-Debbugs-Cc: d...@darkboxed.org

Hi Ian,

I'm concerned dkim-rotate's default mail_lag is too low to account for
widely used sending timeouts.

RFC2821 says senders SHOULD retry for at least 4-5 days
https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc2821#section-4.5.4.1 so mails
could legitimately get stuck for that long and still be delivered.

Meaning that even when only one SMTP hop is involved in delivery as is
admittedly typical the email_lag default of 88h (3.66 days) is a bit
short.

Thanks,
--Daniel
