Go ahead. I'm swamped beyond words. You can take formal ownership, if you like.

Hi,

on behalf of the Debian Med team I intend to salvage[1] this package since the
following criteria from Wiki[2] are met

There is no visible activity regarding the package for six months
A previous NMU was not acknowledged, and a bug justifying another NMU is pending for one month
The last upload was an NMU and there was no maintainer upload within one year
Bugs exist for more than one major missing upstream version (bug #1066377)

I have prepared the package I intend to upload inside the Debian Med
team space

  https://salsa.debian.org/med-team/argtable2

The rationale to move this package into Debian Med team is that it
affects a tree of dependencies in this team which maintains clustalo
that depends from libargtable2-dev.

Kind regards
   Andreas.
