This looks strange, the development headers of libmysqlclient12 were in a package called "libmysqlclient12-dev" with version "4.0.24-10sarge1", the same as the "libmysqlclient12" version. Are you sure that this "libmysqlclient-dev" really comes from Debian and that you first upgraded to the latest Sarge until you switched to testing/unstable? bye, -christian-
