thanks a lot for your NMU. Unfortunately, the fix from Steve is not correct, because the expected output of the test actually *is* French, so the failing test was indeed right. The test did work previously, so something in the locale handling must have changed. I've now fixed this upstream and will prepare a new upload with the expected test output changed back to French. The package build now succeeds again with all tests passing.
