Milan,

I see you're at least catching up on src:less bug reports, so I won't
pursue the salvaging process. But my offer to help co-maintain still
stands.

Either way, as a reminder in case it helps you, in my Salsa fork[1] I:

  * Updated to the latest upstream release version 643, closing bugs
    #1069037, #901071, #1059967, #931216, and #977494
  * Worked around tests broken since version 632
  * Dropped End-OSC8-hyperlink-on-invalid-embedded-escape-sequen.patch,
    applied upstream
  * Refreshed debian/patches/02-655926-more_can_go_backwards.patch
  * Added GNU/Hurd PATH_MAX FTBFS patch from #1060420, applied upstream
  * Fixed lintian old-fsf-address-in-copyright-file,
    trailing-whitespace, uses-debhelper-compat-file, and
    package-uses-old-debhelper-compat-version (all lintian tags
    including info and pedantic are fixed)
  * Added patches (one from upstream, one from me applied upstream) to
    fix troff warnings introduced in upstream versions 595 and 608
  * Added DEP-3 headers to debian/patches/less-is-more-434417.patch and
    debian/patches/02-655926-more_can_go_backwards.patch both of which I
    forwarded upstream (and the latter was accepted)
  * Added .gitignore to fix gbp-buildpackage complaining about .pc/
  * Added debian/salsa-ci.yml

I've rebased upon Salvatore's NMU. Let me know if I should request
commit access on Salsa to debian/less.git (as a non-DD I don't
automatically have access). It looks like you have merge requests
disabled.

Feel free to take any or all of my changes and exclude any you don't
like, such as the Uploaders change.
