Package: perl
Version: 5.8.8-4

Perl has some macros in its header files which expand to something
like this:

  extern "C" SV* Perl_Gsv_placeholder_ptr(register PerlInterpreter *my_perl
__attribute__((unused)));

GCC currently has a bug and rejects this (valid) code with the
following error:

  test.cc:1: error: invalid use of 'register' in linkage specification

This error is bogus since the use of register is allowed there.
However, its use doesn't make sense so it would be nice to remove it.
