Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

   When try to build package from git repository, it
   can't be built because of missing pristine tar commmit.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

   $ git clone https://salsa.debian.org/debian/mozc
   $ cd mozc
   $ LANG=C gbp buildpackage

   * What was the outcome of this action?

     $ LANG=C gbp buildpackage
     gbp:info: Creating /debian/mozc_2.28.4715.102+dfsg.orig.tar.xz
     gbp:error: Cannot find pristine tar commit for archive
     'mozc_2.28.4715.102+dfsg.orig.tar.xz'

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

   pristine-tar branch is updated and no missing
   pristine tar commit for archive
   'mozc_2.28.4715.102+dfsg.orig.tar.xz'.

   It also succeeds to build gbp buildpackage
   mozc package without error.
