Hi, > That makes sense. You can simply add pristine-tar = True to your > ~/.gbp.conf to not forget it until this is implemented. FTR this messes with anyone who doesn't have the setting. I've just did couple of upload of tiny-html5 scratching my head why they are all rejected before realizing that the other maintainer had not created debian/gbp.conf, but has ~/.gbp.conf setting. I am not sure if the "by default" thing is the right thing to do, but having gbp buildpackage (*) print a warning if --pristine-tar is not used, but "pristine-tar" branch is present would save me some time. Anyway, thank you very much for this useful tool. Debian packaging would be much harder without it. Cheers, Ondrej * - well, all the sub-tools that consume --pristine-tar -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQKTBAEBCgB9FiEEw2Gx4wKVQ+vGJel9g3Kkd++uWcIFAmacsDhfFIAAAAAALgAo aXNzdWVyLWZwckBub3RhdGlvbnMub3BlbnBncC5maWZ0aGhvcnNlbWFuLm5ldEMz NjFCMUUzMDI5NTQzRUJDNjI1RTk3RDgzNzJBNDc3RUZBRTU5QzIACgkQg3Kkd++u WcLy6w//XrJfPFl7g2NTmp2azZhvCJ9e+UuggiHe5tE86SlTZ0HB80OxxmPH82cN sDrMM0MvXkNwhSvpQXDXtKVcHHGMXxeLJRbHOqnr06Sbwo0VWK8oVsfvXAO2t/3m TQY+j394GmKQIJANz+tjjfNsfVW2NjrD32g99Jiwxv6WtTxizznhKN+SOUW6AECM WL79SXlTOPjPJT38sUcT55OsDtPzo6gbjg4xH0g/IoYorU4DSro26u4OZRqxKKA8 c52kevIvNwltRKhVMQYti1h/kWR39RduyEFeshkgnb3khar1EPmyKy8fpdz2hUIc F0zUtjMkX9Y+mXBpzCEXqfH0JibUVMw6KdBtqZWgO6dA2Y9vN43wUuLnP2FyBIpZ up9qS457Zr4LHVoekT7vMOAzzNpzQqpWBu/QEOSoYk2P9nl4/PW4daUSA+IJPu9k McMz2mge+/cn787xdukwkKZMXqdaDXTcP0ZP6X/qK5uUMqXqdFccNPtyDdCXFOLF O2eSlUdptTUjK/azBF+bj8qIvDyIQcrMklhJ23EE0dNOg6RXmZp99YbvgbmpRb1I LsFCHgUCzgJJ3LUDy/7V1xQLxe+kC88E8rGVI6iBNHDp/yiXLvFA2AYtyoB3h/eb V3gEOIfo01dX4wwmnxjdoxNgKyDR9YJbcGwVixIP4BFQV0seh9U= =hM5H -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
