FWIW, --update-trustdb can be simply swapped with --check-trustdb, which does exactly what the former does, minus interactively asking the user for some values; that would never happen when creating a new trustdb anyway. And sequoia-chameleon-gnupg implements it as a no-op. -- Sdrager, Blair Noctis
