Helmut: Ok to apply this patch now? The current version in unstable
is only two days old in its way to testing, and I guess that the other
bug might take more than five days to be analyzed and fixed.
Yes. Chris is right on all aspects of this and I LGTM his patch.
As you trust me on /usr-merge matters (which I appreciate a lot), I
kindly ask you to extend your trust to Chris as he has done lot of work
in this area.
Noted. Ok, since there are now patches for the two bugs, I'll apply them
together
