Package: rpm-i18n Version: 4.19.1.1+dfsg-1 Severity: normal In the package description rpm-i18n claims to carry localized (i18n) man pages. However, the package does not contain any.
Previously, manpages-l10n used to ship i18n rpm man pages. Currently
there are translators interested in picking it up.
We need to coordinate here, to avoid file clashes and double ressource
usage. If rpm-i18n ships localized man pages in the future, then
manpages-l10n will not do so. It would be best to transfer all
existing translations then to you (or upstream).
However, if you do not want to ship and maintain (!) the translations,
then manpages-l10n can do so. In this case, you should of course
update the package description of rpm-i18n.
It would be great if you could inform me so I can guide the interested
translator(s).
