The XML data in /usr/share/appdata/ should be moved to /usr/share/appdata/ to be picked up by the Appstream parser. The appdata/ path is obsolete. The XML files might need an update too. This can be used to check the XML content: appstreamcli validate-tree --no-net --explain debian/colorhug-client I tried to create a patch for this, but could not get it to build, thanks to cross references between the toplevel Makefile.am, the obsolete path data/appdata/ and the content in po/POTFILES*. -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen
