Package: todo.txt-base
Version: 2.4
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

This package, which seeks to provide a base for todo.txt includes libre-office
as a recommended package. I would suggest that this be changed to 'suggested'.
While some software is required to view todo.txt files, I do not understand why
specifically libre-office would be recommended (if this is the purpose of this
recommendation). This is particularly problematic because this base package is
a dependency of topydo, a CLI for todo.txt that renders a text editor such as
libre-office unnecessary for interacting with the todo.txt file. Hence, when I
sought to install topydo on my computer which I operate exclusively through the
framebuffer terminal, apt attempted to install all the dependencies for
libre-office, forcing me to manually resolve dependencies of the topydo
package, which obviously was only a minor inconvenience.
This is my first bug report, so if this is badly formatted or useless, I
apologise profusely and thank you for your work.

Yours,
Lucas Veltkamp
