Package: courier-authlib
Version: 0.58-2
Severity: important
I installed courier-authlib-ldap and courier-imap, along with required
packages, but I
could not get it to work properly. I made sure "authldap" was in the module
list, but it
complained in /var/log/mail.log:
authdaemond.plain: Unknown module 'authldap' skipped
I used `authtest` to trigger this request. However, if I ran
/usr/lib/courier/courier-authlib/authdaemond by hand, it actually could find
the proper
module and authenticated correctly. Looking at /etc/init.d/, it calls the
programs
inside of /usr/lib/courier/authlib/authdaemon* instead of the other (working
for me) directory.
I tried purging, rebuilding all the files, and continued to get this until I
manually
ran the courier-authlib version of the file, which the
/etc/init.d/courier-authdaemon
does not.
