lomiri-telephony-service currently ships a polkit 0.105 configuration fragment at /var/lib/polkit-1/localauthority/10-vendor.d/50-com.lomiri.TelephonyServiceApprover.pkla but does not seem to have a polkit >= 0.106 equivalent in /usr/share/polkit-1/rules.d. This means the customizations to the default polkit policies that are made by this package will not be taken into account when running polkit >= 0.106 which is the default since bookworm. While in bookworm it was still possible to install the polkitd-pkla package, which provided support for pkla files, this legacy backend has been removed in trixie. Thus please consider adding a JS based polkit rule and while at it also remove the obsolete file /var/lib/polkit-1/localauthority/10-vendor.d/50-com.lomiri.TelephonyServiceApprover.pkla The format of the rules files is documented in the polkit man page or at [1] under section "AUTHORIZATION RULES".
