Hi,
tgif showed up in the Bug of the Day[1] initiative. I consider this package
as a candidate to be salvaged following the procedure in developers
reference[2].
It fulfills the following items:
- NMUs, especially if there has been more than one NMU in a row.
- Bugs filed against the package do not have answers from the maintainer.
- There are QA issues with the package.
It also might be worth considering whether tgif can be removed from Debian
which needs further discussion.
I would consider team maintenance for tgif either in Debian Phototools team
or inside the Salvage team.
Kind regards
Andreas.
