Because of the many bugreports and the NEWS.Debian i verified that i'm using vim. i notice it very fast if i use vi instead of vim because in vi the cusor keys, to which i'm used to, are not usable for navigation. For example, i see the --INSERT-- if i'm in insert mode. I even asked another debian user, he has the same strange vim behaviour after the upgrade.
