Sorry about the silence here.

The problem is indeed that. Each repository needs to be manually enabled
for each distribution; this is not an automatic process.

I had planned to go over the repositories and add trixie where relevant,
and then close this bug, but then life intervened and I got distracted.

I'll try to pick it up again.
