Control: retitle -1 freecontact: ftbfs: Illegal instruction error on armel Control: tags -1 + unreproducible moreinfo Control: severity -1 normal
Hi Lucas, Relevant part of the build error in freecontact on armel looks to be the below illegal instruction error: > pod2man --utf8 -c 'User Commands' -r "1.0.21" -name FREECONTACT > > "freecontact.1" > make[2]: *** [Makefile:1405: BioXSD-1.1_xsd.hxx] Illegal instruction Reading through your build log, I saw no hint of use of machine specific build option (" -m.*"), which suggests there might be, or have been, something off in one of the dependencies of the build. I attempted a rebuild of freecontact on qemu-user armel, but did not reproduce the illegal instruction error. Output suggests something went off with the xsd command in your log: pod2man --utf8 -c 'User Commands' -r "1.0.21" -name FREECONTACT > "freecontact.1" xsdcxx cxx-tree --location-map http://bioxsd.org/BioXSD-1.1.xsd=BioXSD-1.1.xsd \ --namespace-map http://rostlab.org/freecontact/input=freecontact_input_xsd \ --namespace-map http://rostlab.org/freecontact/output=freecontact_output_xsd \ --namespace-map http://bioxsd.org/BioXSD-1.1=BioXSD \ --generate-serialization --generate-doxygen \ --generate-polymorphic --polymorphic-type-all \ --omit-default-attributes \ --root-element-all \ --hxx-suffix _xsd.hxx --cxx-suffix _xsd.cxx \ freecontact_input.xsd My rebuild eventually went through, so I reduce the severity. Neither freecontact nor xsd changed since this bug opened, so it could be a change in another dependency. Lucas, do you still reproduce the issue on your end? I don't exclude to miss something with qemu-user. If the issue still appears, then the baseline violation would justify bumping back the severity to serious. But if the issue doesn't appear anymore, then I think the bug can be closed. Have a nice day, :) -- .''`.
