-------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: debian and strawberry requiring KDSingleApplication Date: Tue, 17 Sep 2024 22:54:10 +0200 From: Jonas Kvinge <[email protected]> To: [email protected]
Hi I'd like to drop the 3rdparty copy of KDSingleApplication from the strawberry source, in fact I will probably drop the entire 3rdparty directory altogether. Debian seem to be the only distro that does not currently have this library. It's missing entirely from bookworm. But I see that it's maintained here: https://salsa.debian.org/owncloud-team/kdsingleapplication but I don't know if the maintainer is active as it still has an older version, and version 1.1.0 is required is required by strawberry. Is it possible to add KDSingleApplication 1.1.0 to Debian bookworm, or do we have to wait for the next stable release of Debian for this library to be included? Jonas ========================================================================== Hi Jonas, a prerequisite for backporting KDSingleApplication 1.1.0 would be for the current version in Sid to be updated. Hence this bug report. I suggest subscribing to the bug here https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1082095 Regards, Peter P.S.
