Package: libaqbanking
Severity: wishlist

libaqbanking uses openssl (indirectly?) and this means that (at present)
Debian gnucash cannot link against libaqbanking. This is bad for our users.
gnucash upstream believes that there is actually no GPL problem here, but
we are waiting for a decision from the FSF GPL compliance lab for a judgment.

gnucash upstream doesn't care about ssl. We just want to link gnucash
against libaqbanking. The ssl parts are a loadable module (according to
upstream gnucash), and so it should be possible to provide an aqbanking package
which doesn't depend on ssl at all.

If you were to make one (hint hint) it would be extremely valuable to
our users.
