If I try to restart postfix, I get:

Postfix. In Debian. Must. Stop. Enabling. Chroot. By. Default.
SIGH.
It's been said so many times in last 15 years it's way past being funny.
Disable chroot in /etc/postfix/master.cf for at least smtp, smtpd and
relay services.
