Hello Fabrice, thank you for the bug report; the bug which you reported is already closed in python3-mecavideo version 8.0-1, which will be part of the next stable release.
You can try to upgrade to python3-mecavideo-8.0-1, or just install manually the package python3-magic, which you probably did already.
