In #348213, you mentionned a *crash* when using Xv in the gstreamer based Totem. It's probably a xvimagesink/gstreamer or Xorg problem, but I would like to confirm this with a backtrace with debugging symbols. Perhaps you can rebuild gnome-media instead? Or gstreamer0.10-x?
