Package: dhcpcd-base
Version: 1:10.1.0-1
Severity: wishlist

Hello,
I noticed that the '/etc/dhcpcd.conf' configuration file shipped with
dhcpcd-base has the following option commented out:

  [...]
  # Inform the DHCP server of our hostname for DDNS.
  #hostname
  [...]

I think this option is useful. It would be nice, if the
'/etc/dhcpcd.conf' file had the the hostname option set by default in
the Debian package, so that DDNS could work out of the box, without the
need to locally modify the configuration on each host where dhcpcd-base
is installed.

I hope you will consider applying this modification to the Debian
package.

Thanks for your time and dedication.
