The next bookworm point release, 12.8, is scheduled for Saturday 2024-11-09: https://lists.debian.org/debian-release/2024/10/msg00151.html The fixed package is already available in stable-proposed-updates. It will probably never be added to stable-updates. Instead, it will be added directly to stable as part of the 12.8 point release. smcv
