sbuild-update is a tool for when you are using sbuild with the schroot backend. I assume you want to use sbuild with the unshare backend? If yes, could you try upgrading to sbuild 0.87.0 from unstable and tell me about your experience with the new functionality which auto-creates chroots for you? This makes sbuild-update completely pointless for the unshare backend. Thanks! cheers, josch
