Hi,
ipfm was a candidate for the Bug of the Day[1] today. Upstream
suggested available alternatives and recommended removal three years
ago[2]:

Today, one would use netflow and a netflow collector in order to produce
these stats and much more.
The time may have come to remove ipfm from debian. The decision is by
sam, he is the maintainer of the package.
...
IMHO we should follow this recommendation.
