Piuparts fails when trying to use a pre-build tarball with unshare.(Note that there might be some overlap with #1088304 and #). When building with unshare according to the instructions at: https://wiki.debian.org/sbuild (and after doing the things in the other bug reports to get Piuparts to use the pre-build tarball) I receive the following error:
I recommend running piuparts without a pre-build tarball as it gives better test results. We changed this in the latest sbuild. Can you please try sbuild 0.87.1 without any config file and run:
sbuild --chroot-mode=unshare --dist=unstable --no-run-lintian --run-piuparts hello Alternatively you can run piuparts directly: piuparts --bootstrapcmd='mmdebstrap --skip=check/empty --variant=minbase' --apt hello Cheers Jochen
