I confirmed that applying just this change to the code for the package in bookworm fixes the issue. Since the upstream repo is archived, I cannot add this information to the upstream issue that I referenced earlier, but it's probably only an issue for bookworm users. I suppose the new version of the package in testing includes the fix but I don't have a testing machine available at the moment to confirm this. Tim
