I'm seriously considering just disabling the tests for this package. I can't reproduce the most recently reported failure on any of my machines, although I don't doubt that it is reproducible for Lucas.
Upstream knows about the tests being flaky, and there's a similar bug against the package in Launchpad. It seems that the tests are highly non-deterministic, and there's really nothing reasonable we can do as packagers to improve the situation. Mathias
