Hi!
"Last-Translator: Peter Krefting <[email protected]>\n"
"Language-Team: Swedish <[email protected]>\n"
You are a previous translator, but not the last and for better or worse
we sorta have strong ownership not only for packages, but also for
translations. So, in an ideal world, I would prefer some word of
acknowledgement from the last translator (cc'ed).
OK, that makes sense. I did not want to step on anyone's toes, I just
noticed that the translation was abandoned and tried to do something
with it (I have also revived the dpkg translation along the way).
Thanks for doing this Peter. Especially if you're doing dpkg as well, it
sounds promising for the greatest consistency in and between
translations. I'm in favor of this :-)
I have read through the translation quickly, and it looks good and
consistent with previous translations, only found some typos, but that's
to be expected in a big translation:
>Hämntningsstorlek
"Hämtningsstorlek"
>innehåkker
"innehåller"
>slå ohop
"ihop"
>apt-sortpkts
"apt-sortpkgs"
I am also raising an eyebrow at the language team mailing list that
you have given: Trying to browse that gives me May 2020 as the most
recent message in the archive (and the occasional forbidden or broken
link).
There has been several editions of the mailing list archives, there is
one that continues from after 2020 [1]. While I do subscribe to it, I
haven't posted to it in quite some time.
I haven't subscribed to debian-l10-swedish in a long time, after my
Debian developer status lapsed a decade and a half or so ago :-/
debian-l10-swedish sounds like the best fit for Debian packages. But
reports on [email protected] would be handled as well, I'm one of
the admins on that list.
